ooohhh twice a year

hey all.. well after a long break.. i finally managed to sign back into my blog....:) never mind... who knows what will happen next year.. i may write in this more often.. then again.. i may not... ok..

but busy year...

shane's got a bit of a switcheroo coming up with the job front..

josh has left school.. and is doing an apprenticeship.. so that is great

jays has changed schools.. and has finally forgiven us for putting her in a public school again...

eli only has one more year of primary

ethan has had the best year at kindy.. it has been great

and i thankfully have only a couple more days of prac.. and i will have finished my first full year of uni.. great thing to do..... it'd had its trials.. but generally i have loved most of the minutes.....

can't wait for the holidays.. and this year...

gee.. this year..

matt and jack have visited... shari and jamie..... lee... and now chris.. and dan and jackson.... so wow.. so many family members... are counting ourselves as very lucky.....

ok.. and thats about all.... been a great year... lots of milestones for one and all in the carter clan .... can't wait for next year...

Well seeing as i have been silly enough to tell people i have a blog, best i add something to it...


alright 07 has kicked off fairly well.....

i am back at uni next week...and get to hang out with all these kids that i am nearly old enough to be their mother.... ok.. it has its good points... they don't think i look a day older than 30..... lol.. it will be cool.... josh is doing year 11 part time and part time tafe.... he is seriously into downhill biking... and i now know many words... nothing, superman, double nothing, mmmm ok.. i know more, but i have forgotten.. well, all words that mean, he is doing jumps.. and losing skin.. but he is happy so i guess it will continue.

jays has nearly forgiven us for putting her in a public school again...
eli is happy ..and never wants to leave his primary school.... and ethan.. has just started kindy..... and is more than happy to leave mum at home...he was esctatic today... they caught a snake in the playground... yeah good on you aussie... nothing like providing your own nature lessons.. on dangerous critters... for goodness sake.... in nz.. we have daddy long leg spiders... here my 4 year old.. is catching snakes for kicks at lunch time.....

oh yea.. just because... oh yeah.. nz won the cricket... which of course we didn't get to watch here.. because for some rather weird reason.. aussie.. loves their sports as long as they are playing in aussie.. if you're not... well tough... we wont' play you on t.v......

and yep.. shane is working.. working.. working.... mmmm not too bad.. he likes it... they like him.. we get paid... .not a bad thing really.....

anyway... make sure you look at our pic's.. i am trying to get a few up... a lot of older ones from the last few years.... just so you see how much the kids have grown...

I have started the update now, and i have gone back to our china flicks and thought that i would add them first... give you a bit of the history since we left nz....nothing like looking at the kids to realize how long we have been away.

Hi all,

Well finally, I am very pleased to have my photo's linked properly,(many thanks to Courtney who has suffered a number of hours chatting over skype, giving me instructions..) about the blog...what I am going to do is a basic photo display of our trip, and then I will work my way back to when we went to China... I can only upload so many photo's a month so please be patient... as they say... it won't happen over night... but it will happen....and of course I will let you know what the kids are up to now...
